About Us

The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) - Gulf Chapter (IPRA-GC) is a local chapter of the International Public Relations Association. IPRA-GC was initially formed in 2003 with the support of Saudi Aramco. It has more than 350 members from GCC countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE and Oman with a headquarter located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The chapter has an elected board chaired by a president, and has an executive vice president as well as a vice presidents for each region in addition to a vice president for Training, Membership, Media Relations and a Treasurer.
The chapter's vision is to be recognized throughout the Gulf Region for advancing PR excellence. IPRA-GC's objectives are to develop its members PR skills and expertise, broaden their experience in the international PR arena and to establish stronger ties among PR professionals throughout the region."

The chapter organized several regional forums and Dinner Meetings “Speak to IPRA-GC” throughout the Gulf region, an International Conference in Bahrain, and some Training Workshops.
